Meet your trainer...

Get fit, get in shape and get the body you want

I trained as a Personal Trainer through Northern Fitness & Education and I am registered with Fitness Professionals. I am qualified in many areas including weight management, client appraisal and fitness assessment, ante and post natal exercise, specialist populations exercise, core stability, Boxercise and Pilates.

I offer tailor made fitness programmes for a wide variety of individuals, young and old. Some of my clients choose to train multiple times per week, month, or have a check-in session once in a while to gauge their fitness, and I train in a wide variety of venues including homes, gardens, conservatories, garages, living rooms, beaches, parks - the list is endless.

A few years ago I trained Faye Tozer from the band Steps for a magazine shoot. Faye lost almost 2 stone in weight over an intense 7 week period and featured in Now! and Hello magazines. Faye came back to me and did some intensive training 3 years later prior to her "Singing In The Rain" musical tour taking place. I also trained Tony "the fridge" Morrison before he embarked on his 30 Great North Runs in 30 days wearing a fridge, the 30th being the Great North Run.

I really enjoy the personal aspects of training and the individual requirements a client may have. I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds and with vastly different needs, and I always thrive on a challenge, so whatever your needs dont hesitate to get in touch.

As well as my main work as a Personal Trainer I have also taught group classes for major gym chains such as DW Fitness, and for major companies such as Proctor & Gamble. I have been featured in Now magazine, Mens Fitness, City Living (Newcastle), Weightwatchers online, and have appeared on ITV's "The Krypton Factor" and BBC's "Look North" - both with clients I trained at that time. In the Winter of 2014 I appeared on the Channel 5 programme "Go Hard or Go Home" where I trained 4 ladies from the Womens Institute to complete a Triathlon.

I enjoy tough workouts - running particularly, weight training, core conditioning work, medicine ball training, kettlebells, pilates and most things related to exercise. I'm have also been a keen Triathlete.

A full list of my qualifications is at the foot of this page. I look forward to being of service to you soon.
